Enter to win a $35.00 gift certificate from CSN Stores! CSN is comprised of over 200 online stores, selling everything from dining room chairs to salt pigs (which is what I’d personally buy if I had a CSN Stores gift certificate!). No matter if you're in the market for a diaper bag, firepit or remote control boat - CSN Stores has it!

To enter, leave a comment telling me your favorite Halloween costume or what you plan to dress up as this year. You have until Sunday, October 31 and I’ll announce a winner, chosen via random.org, on Monday, November 1.

  1. J is going to be "Wee"vel Knievel, Kelly his mechanic and I'm going to be a much cheaper version of Lady Gaga's meat dress (faux meat of course--don't freak out).

  3. My favorite was my Velma costume from a few years back. Or when Kim and I went as Hermione and Harry Potter. Your Don Julio costume is one for the record books, too. Either that, or the number of tequila shots you took that night. :)

  4. A couple of years ago my group of girlfriends dressed up as the Spice Girls and our group of guys dressed up as the Village People. We had a choreographed dance routine to "I'll tell you what I want what I really really want" which I still regret every day. We had a dance off with the Village People and lost! I mean lets be honest...its really easy to do the YMCA! Its much harder to perform a choreographed routine in high heels. Somehow we ended up with Rainbow Bright dancing with us too...its all a little fuzzy...

  5. My favorite was my peacock costume! That was so much fun to wear, I could put my "feathers" down or up. It unfortunately got too drink stained to wear any more. One of my favorite costumes I saw, was a little girl who was a piece of sushi. Too cute!

  6. All of masons costumes transform his personality! This year it is Yoda and the mask is so funny. He has a light saber that looks really real. Andre has one too, don't ask what they cost... Andre is Obi One.

  7. I am not sure about costumes for myself- I always like Medusa. Gavin is going to be Buzz Lightyear (shocker!) and Olivia is going to be a giraffe.

  8. My favorite was the re-use of my blue sequin prom dress to be a mermaid - ala Cher in "mermaids" :) I think I'm going to be a lame mom this year and put Boden in his skeleton PJs....he'll be a skeleton :)

  9. Liam is going to be a bumble bee and I may rehash my old 1980's prom queen costume.

  10. Maggie and Pj are going to be kitty cats. :) I think I'm going to buy some kitty ears for Rob & I too - but I'm doubting I'll get my anti-holiday husband to wear them!

  11. My junior year of college (well, junior year round 1) I cut two big circles out of red felt, sewed them together and stuck some glittery black dots on the back and called myself a Ladybug. 10 years later I'm still rocking the same old felt though it's a getting to be a bit on the ragged side (it's been there and back). I thought I'd mix it up last year so decided to dress as Brock. Brock has a unique look when he's at work - black birki clogs, black (always Nike) knee socks, cut off chef pants that hit him mid-calf (usually frayed at the bottom unless my Mom has gotten ahold of them for hemming), Lola shirt (or pretty much anything black) and often a terrycloth headband. Quite the ensemble, right? I didn't tell him what I was going to be and just got dressed up - he instantly knew who I was. That night I went into the kitchen and did my best "Brock" for the cooks - killed it! I'm back to the tattered felt Ladybug this year - at least it's warm.
